Madamoiselle: Random post

It had been 2 weeks of 'hyper' with a lot of things I had to do and finally, I can rest! Tired!! When it finally ends, I could only feel aches on my body as if I've been doing a sudden intensive workout! I am sooo totally drained out.Phew! Luckily, today's a holiday and waking up early was not in my list this morning. I got up just in time for a Festive visit cum free lunch and more ang pows. hahaha...

Anyway, I'm in love with this flower.It's a Chrysanthemums. I am not a flower type of girl but seeing this, made me fall in love. Beautiful things just makes you happy and this flower does makes me happy. I love the way it blooms and it's been sitting in my room blooming happily for 3 days already. Here's some pose of my new baby... :p

Beautiful ain't it? It has been posing around my room and I took lots of snaps before it wilts in the next few days. :p Got it just to replace my previous gloomy times.

Next,
What's New??

I went to Hua Ho Delima yesterday and spotted a new bakery shop. It was perfectly in front of Hua Ho, and they had "ORANGE" all over the place, call it strategic. You won't miss this place. It's called "LOF Bakery". Cool name I'd say.

So far I 'lof' it. The place is simple and spacious and nice. Yes, we need spacious bakeries please. Some bakeries are just too small to fit the crowds. The cakes are a beauty and the prices are affordable. Haven't tried it though but the buns and muffins were nice. I love their donuts!

What's in the movies?

It's the chinese movie mania this week as the Chinese New year falls today. The long awaited Stephen Chow's comedy 'CJ7' is now on the show and so is Jay Chou's latest movie "Kung Fu Dunk". Coincidentally, their sir names sounded the same and their movies were played on the same day. I love Jay Chou's songs especially from the 2002 album ...if I'm not mistaken. I already forgot the name. Anyhow, I have to see these 2 movies and planning to see one of them tomorrow. I guess I'll be watching the funny CJ7 first.

p.s : Trinity, your tag is on the way..hehehe..I'll post it once done eih..Sorry for the delay :)

Madamoiselle & Holi-Day 19

I was awaken by a call on my mobile this morning and it was my boss....from work. It was only 9.15am and my boss woke me up on my holiday, just to ask a small lil' thing about work. I tried not to sound as if I'm still asleep so I pretend to sound all cheered up and answered "Hello boss, yes?" He laughed out loud and said "Alum lagi bangun kah? [Not awake yet?]. So much of pretending! hehehe... Anyway, I dozed off right after he we hung up, untill half an hour later, I had to wake up. I forgot that i need to go somewhere. hahaha! I slept late last nite at around 3am surfing the net and blog hopping. It's just too much, yeah?

Anyway, as promised, I'd like to post up the pics I'd snapped from my phone last nite. I thought the crowd were going to be lesser at NBT for the Christmas holiday snapshots as it was already over but I was wrong ,there were still lots of people there.

Every year, NBT has the best festive decors that sets everyone the mood for celebrating even when they're not celebrating. Kudos to NBT for making the place a memorable place to take some festive snapshots. I wish Jerudong Park would make it like this too for every festive season so as to bring back the crowd to JP. And of course, free please ...just like NBT does.

Santa left his boots for New Year!

Madamoiselle & Macam2 ada...

:: Going Somewhere & Food Talk ::

Yesterday, I had a brief walk with POQ sister at the Damuan Recreational Park. It has been two months since we last had our mini exercise @ afternoon walk. I thought walking at Damuan would be that exhausting as walking at the Tasek. It turns out that I feel more relaxed and not sweating at all even after two rounds. If I were to have a walk at the Tasek, two rounds of walking got me sweaty and just a hike on the hill got me wet with sweat. Its like having a leisure walk at the Damuan, and its not good if I want to keep fit. Why not Jog then? Teeheee… Kalau paham, Bisai [If understand, Nice!!]. At the moment, I prefer to walk lah..hehehe. So tomorrow, we plan on going to the Tasek instead. Unless, we just want to have a relaxing walk, then I’d go for the Damuan.

Anyway, on Monday, POQ sister and I was quite worried with our excessive eating since the Raya festive season thus planning to have the afternoon “walk”. But the weather was rather gloomy so we ended up going for a tummy fill at the TPH restaurant instead. Silahau!! So much of worrying eih?!! We had “Butter prawn” a favourite dish known by almost everyone, “Nyonya Style Venison” , the meat was lovely but the sauce was way to sweet, and “Brocolli with Tofu”, nyamaaanzzz….. In the end, We regret of having too much food when we were supposed to lose all those disproportionate fats in our wiggly bodies. Hmmpff!!

:: Rants And Raves ::

So what about today’s news? I am still not in a good mood for work. I hate it. Somehow I feel totally demotivated. Life, Work, Love…. Sometimes I wanted to do so much, but had so little time, Less resources, so many ideas, un-encouraging environment, too much pressure, I can only think of a lil’ break. No, a huge break! A break from all these, stay at home and baked cakes and muffins and try all sorts of cooking. Hah! I don’t know why, but I got this “big” interest in learning to bake and cook. I just need my own kitchen, my own things and I’ll be a Chef Gourmet wannabe in fairyland, I wish *Sigh*. I love food. I love to make my friends happy, with food. I love to try new foods. I love to try new recipies. I love to try new restaurants. APAKANzz?? Why all these rants?? I’m mentally blocked. Uh-Oh!!

I have a sort of new addiction of love, that I had mentally blocked all the creative side of me to be super doubly stable. And truly, I don’t like it. My mind’s been off too much for thinking the unpredictability of “Him”. Sheesh! I need to get over him soon. It’s tiring me out and It sure doesn’t give me any positive vibes. He’s a good guy, but I need a more matured guy, A guy who knows how to love you without being told… in which that reminds me of the lyrics of Soulmate from Natasha Beddingfield.

Could it be possible?

“Is it possible Mr. Loveable is already in my life?
Right in front of me or maybe you're in disguise”

Its six months after the breakup, Sometimes I missed the ‘X’ sometimes it felt like nothing. It goes on and off, without being told. Then the "other" guy, instead, came in the midst of vulnerability, was all but a rollercoaster experience. And I’m slowly getting tired of it. My heart is fed up of getting indecisive response. We should be buddies, I guess. Whatever!! I gotta go. I feel drowsy already. Bye! Sweet dreams. Hope tomorrow is a good day to refresh. ** I wish humans can “refresh” when they feel “HANGed” just like computers**

Madamoiselle & Tanda Mata Cinta

:: Going Somewhere ::

I've been meaning to write this a few weeks back but i was caught up with so many things and posted so many other things that i have forgotten all about this.. Teehee... So let me tell ya about the title above. Since Hari Raya will be in a few weeks time and pay day will be tomorrow, probably, those who have plans to buy new furnitures might want to drop by to this place. It's located at Kg Sungai Tilong, the same building with Pizzahut or was it DQ?, but on the next block at the far end. I'm not into rattans but seeing the place, i love their furnitures. Oh by the way, The name of the shop is "Tanda Mata Cinta". Very catchy, ain't it? So all about the place will be described as of the pictures below :)

Madamoiselle & Fitness Zone

:: Going Somewhere::

In the past few weeks, My youngest sistah, Oleev, have been telling me stories about her activities in Fitness Zone at Kiulap eversince joining the membership. After much persuasion from her tall-tales, I finally gave in to try the place. Luckily, my sister manage to get us a free 3 days trial to check out the place. Together with my usual partners in "Jalan-Jalan" Mr & Mrs Meow, the three of us head for the place with 50/50 enthusiasm.

My first impression of the place was ~ i think i'm going to like it! It seems like its a huge place but once got in, it's just OK, big enuff for comfortability. Up to the stairs, We're welcomed by the receptionists. I like the decor of the place, simple , clean and modern. I wasn't able to take pictures of the whole area but will show just a few later.[Not much though!]. We met my sister, Oleev, at the reception, as she had come earlier and gave us a pre-tour around the place. Its a three floor gym, divided for everyones comfort. On the third floor,there's a women's zone which i like, where ladies can have their own space of exercising if they're not at ease at the open mixed area. Only the space is small with limited machines. Even the guys have their own space on the 2nd floor. They also have a big hall for different games to play aka basketball & badminton. We tried their treadmills & a few of their machines but lastly ended up playing badminton in the hall. I want to try the dance classes but was already so hooked up in playing the badminton that i turned down the offer by my sis. Two hours at the gym, we stopped. Moi and Mrs Meow were already all drained out. Not FIT I'd say.. hehehe...

Overall, i love the place IF its not fully packed with people [ like today] and IF only the membership fees were much more cheaper.. :p

Madamoiselle & Cats in shop!

:: Going Somewhere ::

Having cats in the shop. Is that a new trend or a just a hobby ? A friend told me that in Miri there's this shop who has cats that welcomes you as you enter. Isn't that cute? I tot so and well! We found one here too. It's located at Kiulap same building as the Ahan Thai restaurant and of course the Soto Bunut Restaurant, that i've mentioned earlier.

The name of the place is Muchdeini Enterprise and the cats are so cutey,bubbly and a babe! When we passed by the shop,we thought it was a piece of display, a white cat statue, sat by the big glass watching the world outside and we found it so adorable until its head tilts, that surpises us. Hey, it's alive! Just see at the pics, you'll love'em too.

The outside view of the Muchdieni Enterprise

The inside view of the shop

The adorable white cat...whatever your name is...

And we thought it was a fluffy cat doll on display!!

Woofey's the name~> Furry and cuddly...

This babe is "Bebeh".. the very the Manja!

Inspite of the attraction we got from the cats, The shop itself was another unique place to go. The catchy words and pics of the T-shirts, the glittering accessories, the bling-bling bags and the sleek men shoes are an eye catcher. I do have an eye on one of the bags. I'm gonna get that hopefully next month ...teeheee.!!! And again, HOPEFULLY..Sigh! Congrats to the owner for such a nice unique shop and of course, those wonderful cutie babes of yours... the CATS!

Madamoiselle & Tanglong + FOOOOD!!

:: Food Talk ::

Okay, Basically I'm gonna tell ya wat's up wif moi yesterday. Hooray to yesterday news!!! Yey! Sorry peeps, I'm not really an updated blogger and merci moi for the lack of time. It seems to me that my topics are now mainly divided into several categories where at most times I'll be concentrating on Food Talk & Movie Talk as my experiences are unexpectedly more into these areas. har! har!

So What's been happening yesterday? I think it's kinda of my "Food Festival" as I've been eating like the whole day a lot. But unfortunately i did not have a good camera to take the wonderful pics of my yesterday foods and events and I am always, always have the habit of taking a photo after I took a bite... or more likely finished it up. Lupa wah! The food is already too tempting to eat to remember that i want to have a memory of it in my blog...hehehe!

Anyway, I'd like to introduce to you guys a nice place to eat for Soto. I've been to this place twice for just this week [ and that includes for my yesterday's lunch ]. It's called " Restaurant Mawar Tasaubah Soto Bunut" and of course better known as "Soto Bunut".

Location, is actually in Kiulap, just about opposite of Taurean Cafe. What i like about this place is that they serve a buffet of "SOTO" where you can mix any amount and any type of filling you'd like for your Soto. And the price isnt bad at all, for the amount and pleasure you get with their Soto is only $4.00. Nice eih! And its a big bowl for a Soto, i tell you, coz if you fill it in all the ingredients it's like you're having a mountain of Soto ingredients. That's what some of their customers did and we're like "OMG! " But then that's just what they needed. Here's my version of my pick of Soto;

Actually, You can have a choice of fillings for your Soto as of the following;
  • Mee Kuning
  • Mee Halus
  • Daging Ekor
  • Daging Tulang
  • Lidah (small cuts)
  • Berubut (small cuts)
  • Ayam (shredded)
  • Daging (small cuts)
  • Ubi kentang (diced)
  • Taugeh
  • Telor Rebus
Then you can send your bowl to the kitchen counter and they will pour you the soup and additional Hati buyah on top of all the ingredients you've picked. You better try it peeps. Totally nice for a Soto. I'm over with Soto Tinis. :p

:: Going Somewhere ::

Last nite , "Tanglong" was the event in Bandar and madame and moi partners-in-Jalan-Jalan, Mr & Mrs Meow, went to watch the parade + fireworks. T'was a nice experience since I haven't been into such events for more than a decade now. The wonderful ambience around town was so lively with lots and lots of people, young and old; lots of lights , blue, yellow, red,green and everything else, T'was HOT!! hahaha... I wish then that i own a good camera, good enuff to capture all those events. Rather, i'm stuck with my ol' phone camera that takes pictures not better than a Disposable-Kodak-moment.

Well anyway, Tried my best to make a good effect out of nothing so here's what we had for the Tanglong nite fever...

Next story: You don't know what i did on Friday...more food, more pics...more of yesterday's news...ol'news...tink i'm good in telling ol' news eih! Cheers!!!

Madamoiselle & Miri

:: Going Somewhere!! ::

Hi ya all,

Yesterday, as ya all know was a public holiday for all of us [especially for myself] in commemorate with the Birthday of His Majesty, The Sultan of Brunei. But I'm not gonna talk bout the celebrations now just yet but will be talking about what i did for the holiday. I don't usually enjoy much of holidays before, as i was too workaholic to do anything but work, work , work at these times or at other times, Sleep and rest at home, doing nothing but rest. But this year was different, i'm taking light on work and began enjoying life as i'm supposed to have. And Tadaaa..., I've managed to reduce my stress level and trying to have a healthy life in a slow pace by enjoying places that i've been so looong neglected to stroll around and relax. In the past 3 months, my friends and i started having "lepaks" at Serasa Beach almost every weekends. Then, we tried on going further to strolling around Tutong town and beaches, then to Belait town and even went to Labuan for an extra pleasure of being relaxed! [My ol'frens juz couldn't believe that "I-GOT-TIME" doing all these as i was known to "No-Holiday-Or-Weekends" kind of person.]

So what i actually did for yesterday, was also none other but to go to a place that i've been neglecting to go in the past few years --> MIRI. Really!! It's been like years that i've last set foot in that place and it felt good to come back and enjoy what every bruneian seems to enjoy going there for. We started heading to our destination early morning [ early for moi dat is] at around half past six in the morning and arrived around eight-ish ,with an unbearable hunger in the stomach . Of course, first thing to do is to fill up the tummy. Once full, we headed for the workshops for my car to get a lil' fix. Not that my car had any big problems, just needs an add of botox to upgrade its beauty...hah! Not! hehehe... Half day was used up for this and we felt hungry again and went to Imperial to have lunch and shop. Then, to Parkson and shop for more and played bowling too. T'was fun yet exhausting so we finally rest at Coffee Bean, in which tha place was really nice and spacious compare to the ones in Brunei. Time was 5pm by then, and we have yet anther destination to go which is the "Miri Public Park @ Taman Awam Miri". It is beautiful. That's the first time i went there but i'm lovin it. I know it has been there for years but as what bruneians do, we always go to Miri for shopping, and not touring around the town. What i love about the park is the "Hanging Bridge", although i didn't manage to further walk to the long length of the bridge due to our crazy fren who jumped and ran all the way on the bridge, leaving me and my fren, stopped at the deck and just watch him go.

As the sun sets down, we went to the beach and enjoy the wind, the sun and the view. Although the beach is still under renovation, but we had a peaceful time with a panoramic view of the sunset.

ur on candid!

Titanic wannabe!!

:: Food Talk::

To end the day, went to Al'Fresco, a restaurant thats serves yummy nyummy fried calamaris and Baked clams. Enjoying every taste of it.

We finally set of back to Brunei, when we ran into a long queue near the miri immigration post. Took us almost an hour an a half to just get off from the Brunei immigration post and came home around 11pm. Was so exhausted that I dozed straight off after a late shower...aaaahh.....nyaman tido kali aaahh...hehehe...
