Madamoiselle: Moi 100th post

Hoorey! It's my 100th post for Madamoiselle ver 2. and ironically, I have nothing much to blog about. Waaa!!! I think it's because my mind is still on the 'Coffee Prince' drama series that I haven't finished watching yet. I'm still on the 2nd DVD. Really, if I did not control myself, I would probably finished watching it in one day but that would be sickening... I need my life too..hehe.

Anyway, as it's my 100th post today, I'd like to congratulate myself *pity* :p for being able to keep my blog alive and kicking since July 2007. And that's about 6 months ago.

I'm still a learning blogger, an amatuer, who simply writes about my daily life, what I feel, eat, do and nothing special. My first blog was
"Madamoiselle" and as you might know, I had forgotten my password and had locked myself out of blogging in that blog *pathetic*.

Well, my first intention to write a blog was to have my own personal sort of diary that I wanted to remember in my later years and also to improve or at least maintain my usage of proper English which I find the lack of it in the past decade. Eversince I started working, my environment did not approve to speak or write good english. I spoke malay 98% of the time and my first job was me, mingled closely with my chinese colleagues who spoke more to Singlish style speaking rather than a normal english. I was very close with my chinese boss and I got influenced with their english for almost 3 years. You know, like "Don't play-play mah!" and "Why you blur like sotong eh?" hahaha... it sounded funny now that I remember it but it sure was fun to speak english like that.
Ok Wat?

Then, I moved to working in another new environment which is my present work and this time it's purely more to a Malay speaking environment. English was hardly used except for some circumstances and I feel like my power on the use of english has gone down to the drain. And I'm not liking it and so the need to blog. Blogging, does not let you practice, just good writing but also keeps you exploring more of English terms that you sometimes hardly used. When I 'blog-hop', I learned more from reading the blogs and it really do helps.
Last year, I took an international English test to see how my English was and for some other reason. I took their classes and learned that although I'm fine with my vocabulary but my tenses were so careless. {You may just see it from my writings in my blog}.I got throuhg with good grades though *grin*.

Okay, I've babbled too much for someone who thought had nothing much to say on her 100th post. Have a wonderful week ahead everyone! Buhbai!

Madamoiselle: One Fine Friday A.M & the Coffee Prince

One fine friday morning, my parents and I decided to have breakfast in Kiulap. It was around eight and saw an accident had occurred at the Kiulap traffic light junction which caused a long queue of cars from the roundabout towards Bandar. I'm not sure how it happened but it had knocked down one of the traffic lights and was partly burnt...which I assumed from seeing the dark burned marks on the front side of the car. We're lucky we came from the other side of the road so it was less jammed than the otherside. After breakfast, more than half an hour later, the car was still there on the same spot untouchable. I managed to get a picture of it while passing out of the area. I'm not sure how long they are going to clear the road but it does looked like it took forever.

Anyway, I just came back from the workshop. My car has finally finished its five days repair. Phew! I missed my baby. It's not fun being a "Daddy's Girl" every morning to work..hehehe. Tomorow, will be another hectic day for me at work. Lots of things to do and I'm taking lots of rest these two days as much as possible. And what have I been doing then? hahaha.. I've bought a Korean drama series DVD last few weeks back and haven't got the time to watch them yet. So these two days, I'm taking my ample time watching it. I have always been a Korean drama series fan but not as fanatic as I used to be. It's really exhausting watching these addicted long drama series when you know you have not much time to watch them.

At the moment, I'm watching the "Coffee Prince". So far, it's very interesting coz I hardly sees the main actress being confused as a male. She's a tomboy and that hardly happens in korean dramas...or maybe i haven't seen much of their dramas lately.
And I just found out that they are going or already..i'm confused..making the Coffee Prince Season 2. See how good this one is?

Here's the synopsis:

With a foolish mother and the need to look after her younger sister, “pretty boy” Go Eun Chan has to give up her feminine image to help support the family with multiple jobs. Because of her previous experience with Tae Kwon Do, Eun Chan has quite the bold and opinionated personality. Choi Han Kyul seems to know women well and thinks of himself as a great guy.

After accidentally being mistaken for a man by Han Kyul’s older brother, Choi Han Seong, she starts working at Coffee Prince, and falls in love with the hot-tempered owner Choi Han Kyul. Han Kyul hires Eun Chan to avoid an arranged marrage by pretending to be romantically linked to a “gay” Eun Chan. But Choi Han Kyul slowly starts to develop feelings for her, but still doesn’t believe in love. Eun Chan also starts to have feelings for Han Kyul but can’t confess that she’s a woman, Han Kyul, continues thinking that the agonized Go Eun Chan is a man. Choi Han Kyul thinks he’s experiencing feelings of homosexuality towards her, and gets heartsick. This side of him was drawn in a risky but fun way.

The part when he discovers that Go Eun Chan is a woman is shown in an undemanding way, and the story doesn’t concentrate on just these two people, but also on the other people who frequent Coffee Prince. These people are shown one by one in a natural way, and since the story isn’t just about romance but about the natural conflicts of all the characters.

For more details go to --> Coffee Prince

Have a nice Weekend!
I'm off ...to continue watching the DVD, Arriasso?!! hehehe... Bieanna...

Madamoiselle: My Midnite Cuppy Experience

A friend wanted me to make some cuppies for a small Hijrah celebration last night. I couldn't resist eventhough it was last minute. So the night before I made her the cuppies and I was done by midnite as I started baking it late. Imagine decorating it by midnite and I was making them at our almost outdoor kitchen and it was indeed a very quite night.

It was a funny shivery experience though. I was never scared being alone at home even at night but that night, while decorating the cuppies, when the clock strikes 12, I suddenly had goosebumps at the back of my neck and I don't know why. It freaked me a little but I had to finish all the cuppies so I hurried up with the decors. I was in a not-so-comfortable situation with the sudden goosebumps. Half an hour later, there were no more goosebump feelings and I had finish my cuppies. Unfortunately, after all the fuss I'm experiencing, I was a bit disappointed with the outcome of my decor as it was not as pretty as it was supposed to be. I can't blame it though, how could I decor when my mind was a bit crazy with the sudden shiver I got.

Blue stars and Yellow Moon over white chocolate coating and Chocolate base cupcakes.

Pinky flowery frosting over chocolate coating and Chocolate base cupcakes.

I hope my friend and her family likes it. I'd make it up to you the next time I make it, insyallah. :)

Madamoiselle: The Resolutions that Burns.

It's the 9th day of 2008. To be frank, the 9 days of new year didn't give me a good impression to start a new life ahead. I'm not trying to be a pessimist, my resolution itself is to be more optimistic about anything.

Remember my resolutions? I don't normally make any resolutions. This year, however, I made it optional, mostly for work. I wanted to change to a new leaf. Procrastinating was not me. But I became one few months back. Was it because of demotivation of work or lost in my own world? Both actually. That's why I took a long holiday and wanted a good start ahead in 2008. My first day of work were surprised with a huge change and hectic work schedule coming ahead. Dealing with changes with work was ok for me, I can still bear it and are willing to see the good side of it. But dealing with people that you know you can't get along was definitely a big challenge. They are back! And I have to face them.

I am not mean. I don't hate people easily. I don't shut people from my life for no reason and block anyone who made mistakes without giving any 2nd chances. I am a happy person, the one who always laughs, the one who jokes with her friends and makes silly remarks and teases to pass the time. But I normally do those things when I'm with someone I'm comfortable with, the ones I do get along well. Most, thought I could never be an angry person. They say, I was hardly serious.

Honestly, a friend had quoted this "Harmless unless Provoked!" and for sure, I am as he quoted! I will not hate you if you don't make me. I usually like to distant myself from people who tried to ruin my life. I just don't like being angry or pissed all the time so my solution was to avoid. The problem is, sometimes I had no choice. They come and provoke. They liked being hated. They just are too thick skinned to even cared that they are not wanted. A pain I have to deal with. And it ruined part of my resolutions.

Speaking of which, let me rephrase again my resolutions:

1) Always be optimistic
They ruined it. I'm still trying though.
2) Ignore bad vibes @ people who tends to ruin ur lifes and those who underestimates you.
The devils are back, killing my ignorance.
3) Clearing my Debts--> a never ending story..esp. my cards..waaa!!!
Still in progress
4) Self control --> in spending especially..hehehe
So far, 2% success hahaha...
5) Needs more determination and stop procrastinating :p
I am chanting I can do this..i can do this...
6) Anger management, out of stress... 2007 had been a good one...need more in 2008 :)
2008 became my biggest challenge for this. The devils provoked too much.
7) Loose weight--> I really need to make it work someday hahaha...
No comment in this yet ..teehee!

Today, is the New Year for Islam. Selamat Tahun Baru Hijriah 1429 Everyone. I hope this New Year starts the marking of a better days ahead and these whole 9 days that passed was just a nightmare. I pray for those who hurts the people around, intentionally or not, will change and opened their hearts to be more sincere with everything they do, talk and hear. I pray for myself to be more patient with the challenges given ahead and faced my inner cries calmly.

"Taqabbala Allahu minna wa minkum."
"May Allah accept from us, and from you."

Madamoiselle: Cuppy Blues & Sikui

I'm having a cuppy-blues since saturday. Haven't been ordering from the Cupcake Queen yet so I decided to make it myself instead. I've made a blue buttercream frosting over my choco spread on the vanilla cupcakes. I just love a blue cupppy. I don't know why. My first batch of cuppies were the ones with the lovey dovey decors. I really like that cute red lil love. Since my lovey-dovey sugar decor has run out, I've replaced my next batch of cuppies with all different kinds of mixture. These was what I've made last night for my colleagues today.

Anyway, the other day, a friend told me his silly watermelon story. He was quite new with the internet , I can say a bit naive about it. He does chats and a few surfings but not that much of an explorer of the internet. So one day, he wanted to surf the 'Apple' website but was not sure with the address. Yeah, i know, he should just 'google' it or logically, just try apple.com. Instead, he asked his brother and gave him this..in which he did try to surf it...and of course it does not work. Guess what's the Apple url is? WWW.SIKUI.COM -->> 'sikui' means Watermelon. wahahahaha.... and he didn't even realised that his been fooled until he tried surfing his melons ..hahaha. Apple = Sikui..Get it? hahhaaha.. No? okay this is lame.

Anyhow, I tried a few of these qiuzzes thingy and got the results...That's a step ahead to know me better *wink*.

Madamoiselle: The Zen Garden

My parents love to decor especially in the garden. We have a small pretty garden by the side of the house, decorated from the ideas of my parents with the help of our previous gardener. Our maid also has a husband who does wood work so it was easy for us to hire him to make the wood decors for the garden. The garden which also consist of a homemade fish pond, was a big hit from our visitors during Hari Raya last year. A friend's hubby call it 'The Zen Garden' as we had it dimly lit at night and the sound of the small water feature was absolutely calming.

This morning, while I did my laundry, I took a few snapshots of the garden. Well, just to enjoy the beauty of nature and for memoir..hahaha... All the pics here are fully taken from my handphone only and without being edited..except of course, just added the frames. Kesian ah..everyone else were into big cameras and i had my snapshots just from my hp. Still, got good pics from it so oklaaahhh...hahhaha nyaman kan hati :)

The Outdoor Plants

The Indoor plants.

And finally, The Garden

I love the garden but I hate gardening..hehehe... I'm juz the lazy daughter they had who loves beautiful things and decors but not the maintenance. :p

Madamoiselle: The Game Plan

My sister, 'Oleev' was admitted to the hospital 2 days ago, charged for probably an appendix but was not yet confirmed. She had been ultrasound-ed and endoscoped down under and I'm still blurry with her condition. There hadn't been any results yet but She was already permitted to pack back home until further notice from her appointments. Get Well soon Sis!!

Anyway, I was planning to visit her at the hospital when they texted that she's back home already so I decided to drop by later and brought my Poq sister and my nieces for a movie.

We decided to watch "The Game Plan", thinking it might be good to have something hilarious to see. Hah! The movie shed more tears than laughter...I can't believe I get sentimental. I realised family bondings makes me and my siblings, a sensitive at heart. I am not a fan of the 'Rock' but i love his character, aside from the self centred ego he had, I find him the sweetest fatherly figure for Peyton, the utterly cute and brilliant lil daughter. A very talented lil lady she is. I love it when the King sang with his guitar for Peyton to get her cheered up after a big fight.

And I love his apartment...I want it all...waaaa!!! hehehe... First half of the movie, I had an impression that I will not like it and assumed that it seems like a typical movie but as soon as the sentiments come...it was a non stop tear shedding as it was absolutely touchy. And the ballet thingy, hahaha...he's such a sport! I rated this movie a 7.5 out of 10.

That kiddo looked like Salma Hayek?!!
Synopsis of the movie:

"The Game Plan" is the story of superstar quarterback Joe Kingman (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson), whose Boston-based team is chasing a championship. A 'serial bachelor', Kingman is living the ultimate fantasy: he's rich, famous and is the life of the party. Now, during the most important time in his career, he must figure out how to juggle his parties, practices and dates with ballet classes, bedtime stories and dolls that come with his daughter. Equally perplexed is his agent, Stella (Kyra Sedgwick) who is without a parental bone in her body. Joe discovers that there's more to life than money and fame...

Madamoiselle : The Organizer

About fifteen years ago, "Organizers" were the 'IN' thing for everyone. That time, I was still in my High School and everyone had one. The organizer, was supposed to be a planner, a scheduler, a note to remember of important things and a place to keep those important numbers and addresses of contacts. For the teenagers those times, however, had their organizers for cool pictures with friends, boyfriends, love poems, letters, notes and comments, all in coloured papers which are beautifully decorated, binded in the rings of the organizer. It's like having an old fashion 'friendster', 'facebook', or 'blogger' all done manually in a piece of a binded book.

The reason I brought up this topic, is because I've found one of my old 'Organizers' which I've used when I was in college. It was not the same as I've mentioned above anymore, as in the years later, people were not interested of it and the usage of organizers were more back to the basic purpose of it. Still, the trends of putting up the picture were still there and I found it 'memorable'. In which reminds me back of my former organizer as I had described above and I didn't have it anymore. :)

Speaking of my 'college-organizer', I just had a simple one, with a 'TAZ' sticker, a character I used to love so much. Most of the things I had inside were schedules for my classes and assignments, few formulas of Electronics stuffs i learnt back then, afew college years pics, a favourite poem I still keep, and my own few collections of lyrics songs that I used to listen.

"Por-key-tu-memann-kor"

I love this french song from Celine Dion back then. Yeah! That was my handwriting a decade ago, the usage of computers had just started to bloom in college and no laptops were affordable yet for the students during those times. It was also the time when mobile phones started to be an 'IN' thing but only a few can afford it. Others, still used 'Pagers". I was one of the few people to afford a mobile phone, from my own money I earned after being paid from the Sea Games volunteer allowances. I still keep it now in the box, unusable, but for memories.

This picture above was a cutting of a poem I really liked. Even till now, It blown me a way reading it. Never thought I'm into such thing, doncha?

Here's the poem I'd like to share;

The First Day

I wish I could remember that first day,
First hour, first moment of your meeting me,
If bright or dim the season, it might be
Summer or Winter for aught I can say;
So unrecorded did it slip away,
So blind was I to see and to foresee,
So dull to mark the budding of my tree
That would blossom yet for many a May.

If only I could recollect it, such

A day of days! I let it come and go

As traceless as a thaw of bygone snow;

It seemed to mean so little, meant so much;

If only now I could recall that touch,

First touch of hand in hand..... Did one but know!

~Christina Georgina Rusetti (1830-1894)~

Fliped through the pages of the lyrics, I found a written note, supposed to be a poem, made by my own. Not a good one and may be a little cheesy but its a poem straight from the heart. I used to write these long time ago but stopped when I started to work.

There are times when she felt so lonely
Nothing will hide, a solitude at night.
She tried to change to be the one,
her heart had just strike
and she fell in love,
Then he had gone, left her heart ached,
Unknowing the truth, Had he ever cared?

She filled her days with laughter

that brights any a soul that lingers her life
Little but none she really knows
Her nights were filled with stars that would not glow.

She tried so hard to appreciate what she has got

To take her hopes and lose her fears
But emptiness still echos through her heart
Someday...Somewhere....Somehow....
She knows, he'll be there to fill her tomorrows.

So much of memories...signing off for now!

Madamoiselle : No.Mo.Hols.

No.Mo.Hols. = No More Holidays! Waaaa....

Back to work! After almost a month of stress free, job ignorance, work-call-rejections and whole-lieu-day for myself, I finally, got back to work,....LATE! I almost forgotten to wake up early,and found myself, still on denial that my holidays were over..O.V.E.R!! Waaaaa......

Lots of changes happening in the office and I am still trying to adjust myself with the changes and many more to come. Sheesh! No wonder I had the urge to take a very long holiday, coming back to work was piled up with loads of things to do for these whole month. Okay, as I had resolute... Think optimistically! There could be a huge advantage with all that's going to happen.Think postively... C'mon gurl you can do it! LOL! I'm sick!

Anyhow, See these pics below.... I love!!

Yesterday, I spent my first new year watching Sex And The City, complete Season 6 part 2. Woohooo! Like it! Love It! Adore It! I just bought it last week but have just managed to watched the whole of it yesterday. It was their last season of SATC and it made me cry. I love the girl bondings and they get more matured compared to the first season, it was more party like. I guess most of you have seen it in HBO way long ago and I had missed that. I may be outdated but I now have the whole collection of SATC. Yeehaa!! Wait a minute! I think I missed one part.Oops! I missed the Season 6 part 1 DANG! Gonna get them soon. No wonder i felt like i missed something. First things first, i need to get them back from my sistah Oleev who hadn't returned some of them for sooooo looong. It's my precious collection. It may not be original, but it sure are clear DVDs.

Hey, I found this when I was surfing, so i tried the Test. Yipeee!! I'm Carrie...I love Carrie...not the long face but her characteristics. I like her. Yey!!
